Poetry Pleases: Moments Of Joy

Beryl Seath reveals in this poem that simple pleasures bring great joy.

If you can find joy in the laughter of a child,
The conversation of strangers to pass the time awhile,
The greeting of a friend whose voice again heard
Raises the spirit like a song bird,
The sight and scent of flowers in the air ¾
No fame or fortune can compare
With these treasures in life we all might share.
