Poetry Pleases: Sayings

In this poem Frances Power playfully juggles some well-known sayings.

"The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog"
looking before he leaps and thinking -
but,
"Time waits for no man" or fox,
also saying to himself
"Don't count your chickens before they're hatched"
and in any case
"A bird in the hand is worth two in a bush"
and remember
"Birds of a feather, flock together"
and who cares
"If too many cooks spoil the broth."
