Poetry Pleases: For Ewan

"....Bringing only one silver coin with love's imprint...'' Jane Williams's short poem is the distilled essence of love.

And will the wind
Turning the green world
Moving over the water
Carry me to the sacred river?

On that bank to leave the
Folded self
Bringing only one silver coin
With love’s imprint
To pay the ferryman.
