Here's Alison: Innocence

There's an ocean of sadness beneath Alison Ross's bright poem

With freckles on her nose,
And innocence on her face,
She told me Daddy didn’t live,
At her and Mummy’s place.
“She stole my Daddy off me”
Said this little Miss of four,
“And I’m going to punch her up,
If she does it anymore!”
