Here's Alison: A Multicoloured Dream
In eight poetic lines Alison Ross defines the pain suffered by a jilted wife.
Would that she had died, when her love flowed like a stream,
Believing in the future with it's multicoloured dream.
Would that she had died, before the bitterness in her heart,
Proved too much to take, and their marriage fell apart.
Would that she had died, believing all her dreams,
Not knowing that his love, wasn't what it seemed.
Would that she had died, and never known the pain,
For never will she ever trust, in that dream called Love again!
