Here's Alison: The Frog Prince

Every princess needs a frog, says Alison Ross's good-humoured poem - but she should choose with care the frog she kisses. Alison wrote this poem for her 16-year-old granddaughter.

Every Princess needs a frog,
Who some day with a kiss
Will turn into a Handsome Prince
Oh Bliss!

Every princess needs to Know
What many Frogs are thinking
And never kiss a single one,
That’s always into drinking!

Every Princess should beware,
She’s not his wild oats,
That out with other frogs at night,
He gloats!

Every princess needs to know
She's important in his eyes,
That he will only tell her truths,
And never lies!

Every Princess needs a spell,
To wrap its magic round her
So when that Handsome Prince appears,
He’s happy that he found her!

Every Princess sweet as you,
Deserves Happiness in Life,
So choose with care the Frog you kiss,
And be his Happy Wife!
