Poetry Pleases: Sneaking Free
Perhaps I can sneak
Unobserved
Into the light
And become accidently aware…
Tony Ellis’s poem longs for a glorious might-be.
Perhaps I can sneak
Unobserved
Into the light
And become accidently aware
Slip around a thought
And become somehow undefined
Lie flat and undiscovered
While a cloud of recognition rolls over me
Trip and fall into space
Like a leaf hovering from a tree
Free
