Poetry Pleases: Time Out

Jackie Mallinson's poem calls for a perspective which reveals that a garden is far bigger than our dreams.

Take time out
Distance –
Seek horizons.
Universes.
See the dot you are in all eternity.
It matters only to yourself,
Your pride, your love,
All your emotion.
It colours all the world.
All the eternity you see.
The healing process is, perhaps,
The moment you see
The garden as it is –
Far bigger than your dreams.
There is relief in this obscurity.
