Dr Ron's Laughter Clinic: She Glazed Over At The News - Then Went Jelly Up
A huge welcome today to a new Open Writing contributor, Dr Ron Pataky.
Dr Ron Pataky is a semi-retired Christian psychotherapist who lives in Central Ohio with his wife, Donna, and a politically-active furry menagerie including Mr Louie, Mimi and His Royal Highness Malcolm. The latter, whom Donna found behind a bush, is magnificently-striped, and undoubtedly of royal ancestry. Ron believes that HRH Malcolm is operating incognito in Central Ohio prior to returning to reclaim an ancient throne somewhere, and adds that he (Ron) must be careful about what he says, as HRH Malcolm will undoubtedly read this.
Before returning to school for his doctorates, Ron had spent more than twenty years as a film and drama critic for a major newspaper syndicate. Additionally, he created a humorous newspaper feature called “Ron’s Place,” which ran daily for a number of years. He also held a Columbus, Ohio, police commission for six years.
