Is there anything strange about me
That wasn’t there before?
One day I asked this of my Mum
She said “What’s this question for?''
My voice, Mum, my voice!
It keeps going high and low
And I think I’ll need a razor soon
Cause I’m growing me a Mo!
Well Mum, she told my father
He said he’d have to see
So he got me in a headlock
And then he said to me
I’ll have to do a Mo test
With my finger and my thumb
If I can grip the hairs real tight
You can have a razor, son
But Dad found it was impossible
For my Mo was far too short
He released me from the headlock
And said I’m sorry sport
So we sat down together
And we both agreed
To do a Mo Test now and then
Until there was a need
He said it was most likely
It could take till Christmas, then
I could buy a razor
And shave like other men.
