Poetry Pleases: today's butterfly

Masimba Biriwasha's poem nurtures the thought that each day is a new-minted opportunity to live a full life.

have no fear for the inevitable end
everyday, raise thy feelers
without regret for the familiar
that stinks like frozen urine
begin again butterfly
fill the empty space
with a flame-lily or two
evolve from what has gone before
c'mon butterfly - let
yesterday end so today can begin
