Then Again...I Could Have Her Bronzed As a Coat-Rack?
Since we've gotten hitched, she has cleaned and prepared
So many concoctions I'm now running scared
A "Gerbil Surprise" served with newt on a shingle
Her hot buzzard bouillon's an all-OVER tingle!
Woodpecker omelets with cutlets of coon
And a porcupine broth over thighs of a loon
Oh yes, since you've noticed, I have gotten thinner
My thanks to her breakfast, her lunch and her dinner
One day it was vulture thrown into a hash
And a toad-kabob something wound up in the trash!
And then just this morning, she plopped on my pillow
A brisket, or blob, she called slopped armadillo
(With a body laid low
By her moss and fried niblets
I finally said whoa!
To her "ossified giblets")
So now, after years of intestinal strife
(Which I cannot abide for the rest of my life!)
She'll just have to suffer the wrath of my knife
After which down to Natchez to get a new wife!
