The Journey
Standing at the waters edge;
A mere reflection staring back,
Like the skeletons of pines,
Hanging their lonesome heads.
The journey;
My life,
A meandering current
That touches both banks.
Seeing,
Feeling,
All that can be,
In myself.
The ragged ridge is hazy,
My future is there,
But unseen,
Curious;
That its ok though,
Assuredly,
The new day comes,
Spring,
When Pines return,
Renewed,
And life,
As the water,
Rolls on.
