Here's Alison: A New Invention

Allow these robots onto your farm and there's no telling how things will turn out, says Alison Ross.

They tell me there’s a new invention
On the farm down Dad and Dave’s way
It will make all the cockies redundant
At least, that is what they all say...

For someone’s invented a robot
A Dairymaid no less...
She spends all her time in the paddock
Milking, Amy and Clover and Bess

They’re liking her sensitive touch
They line up for repeats I am told,
And even old “Mother in law”
No longer, her milk she will hold..

They tell me this brand new invention
Has the cockies all twisting their hands
In case the blooming damn robots
Get loans; to take over their lands.

Have your say
