Here's Alison: Lost Son

Alison Ross dedicates her poem to parents whose sons go missing, or die young.

Sometimes we believe
We’ll see him again - one day
Sometime the pain will cease
And finally go away

The memories fill our minds
Of his years, from babe to man
We never thought we’d lose him
It was so hard to understand

We still see him in our minds
As our hearts are filled with pain
But God willing it will cease
And we’ll see our son again
