Oh mistress muse,
Thou art the poetica and balladea
Of thine quill.
My conveyance,
Dipped and dripping
With Indian ink.
Carrying me
Down long parchment trails;
To write,
To learn,
To weave a web
Of what might be,
To open a window
And let all see;
A writer's dream.
