Here Comes Treble: Troubled Treble

A good writer is never beaten, even when the ideas refuse to flow.

And Isabel Bradley is a very good writer!

Oh, boy, am I in trouble –
The night to send a Treble,
And yet –

No Treble in sight!

My head I’ve scratched,
My heart I’ve searched,
Yet not a word is there to write!

An article was written – wrote…
And yet, somehow,
Just didn’t work.

Pre-editor’s editor said,
And I quote:
“It didn’t mean much to me!”

Deep is my dilemma:
What to do – o, woe is me!
Perhaps I’ll have to pen –

Make that compute –
A poem to see me through.

Until next time, ‘here comes a real Treble!’
