Feather's Miscellany: Eco Poem
John Waddington-Feather's poem spotlights a wrecker of the planet.
Parabolas of flight,
they swoop and swerve,
my martins and my swallows;
tracing and re-tracing lines of light
across the blue canopy above.
Higher still, much higher,
a lumbering Jumbo trudges
across the heavens;
crawling snail on high,
trailing its muck across the sky.
