Feather's Miscellany: Love Song In Old Age
John Waddington-Feather’s poem expesses undying love.
Though weak in frame, my love for you is strong
And burns yet bright as ever; the fifty years
Of wedlock we have shared has fused our beings,
Joined us to our Maker, made us one.
And how I love you, dearest wife, for all
You’ve been to me throughout this life together.
Lover still, I am, my sweet, burnishing
Our love to light us through Eternity.
