North American Dreaming: Fields Of Rain
Being out in the wind and rain bring a sense of oneness with Nature to William Burkholder.
Fields of rain
falling
Whippoorwill's song
calling
Feathered throes
of Love
Enthralling
in misty glade
1 stand
soaked and dripping
Wind blown and ripping
sheets on distant line
Thunder's crash
lightning's slash
Gray clouds roll above me
I drink it in each-and-every-drop
The joy of just being wet
its sensation on my skin
Standing in fields of rain
Rejoicing
