Your experience with writing courses echoes my own. Once I accepted that I was not neccessarily being transformed into a writer of note I settled down and enjoyed what the course had to offer. I acquired much knowledge about writing, editing and publishing and also the difficulties in finding a publisher.
I think that if you enjoy writing why worry about what to do with what you produce? Enjoy the journey and let the destination take care of itself. Above all, keep writng.
