from my shore
a foot... a lifetime
reality is ruthlessly cold
there can be
desperately empty
times in your life
Deep water blues nowhere to go
A sea of loneliness simply unfathomable
to those who
pretend to believe
the abandoned heart
holds its rhythm
that lovers can always be
good friends for ever
