The face in the moon
looked over her shoulder
and whispered to you
you ask for too much
for that which may never be
why don't you smell the clover
ride the red rocket
race to touch the sky
truly celebrate this day
you never know if sunshine
will come your way again
Truly seize this day
run as fast and as far as you can
love as if you were thirsty water
pretend that you are the wind
hold the hands of the ones
who love you closely to your heart
what will be will be
play hopscotch ..eat ice cream
covet and celebrate this hour
you never know if sunshine
will come your way again
You look to the stars to fulfil
dreams of more don't you know
you have so much love is
everything and you have it you are
the master of your very dreams
savour the gift called happiness
value good health as if it were gold
truly celebrate this minute you
never know if sunshine will come
your way again
Your family and friends
live to see your smile
tell them they are everything to you
you who is never happy
even with your own reflection
destiny has given you much and yet
you dream simply to have more
remember even rainbows can fade away
truly celebrate this heartbeat
you never know if sunshine
will come your way again
