Away With Worry: Pet Lamb?
Angela Black presents two more poems for children.
Her Pet Lamb
Mimi thinks I'm her pet lamb,
And up to a point, so I am.
For if I'm good I get a choc
But if I'm bad I get a smack.
So it pays to be a good pet lamb
No Pet Lamb
I'm no longer now her pet lamb.
I went to the kennels and caught some fleas.
"Flea bag" is now what she says I am.
I've been banished from the bed;
I've been sprayed till they're dead
I'm back in my basket and no way to please.
