Wow! I was searching for anything i could find about Shelly-Marks and i came across this. I too have a small amount of the potpouri bath oil. I lived on Long Island and had tracked Mr Shelley down. I went into that building in Manhattan, saw that tiny little apothecary shop and was amazed. Mrn Sheeley said Mr Marks had just died. He no longer had perfumer's alcohol so i couln't get the bottle of toilette I had purchased on long island but i could mix it with vodka. The place i had originally purchased it from gave me the perfumer's alcohol but i didn\'t know what I was doing. I still have that concoction too! Maybe I'll try diluting that with vodka now that i know more about fragrance. M Shelley truly inspired me. I am a certified fragrance expert now and working in the field.i hope to have this scent recreated for myself. It is amazing. i am so glad I had the pleasure and opportunity to meet him.
