Where we run
I may not always be
and when we love
will not always be this free
day to day
night to morning star
give us the time
to take each day
seconds of softer moments
before rushing away
Looking back
knowing our moments
were only to hold
but never to stay
I loved you so
tender dreams
and gentle songs
tunes to which lovers
and their lovers
often play
