Comes the Christ to keep our faith alive,
reminding us that Judgement Day is nigh,
much closer than we dare to think;
for time has ending like ourselves.
Ponder this Advent-time how life
can be like his. Shed sin
and don anew another self to grow like Christ,
the babe who brings new hope at Bethlehem
this Christmastide.
