Poetry Pleases: Seasons

Miriam McAtee thinks considers the seasons as a life story.

Awake ………………… you are on Life’s threshold.
Arise …………………..there is much to do, to see, to feel, to behold

It is Spring

Be Aware………………..It is here and will not come again.
Be Fulfilled …………… Accept all Its joy, pleasure and pain

It is Summer

So little time left but time yet:
To love and hold though not to fret

It is Autumn

Be quiet now your Season is done
It is time to be still, to let Death softly come

It is Winter

And Nature waits in silent pain
‘Til Seasons wake and stir again
