Here's Alison: Just Do It

Alison Ross's poem brings a simple three-word instruction to all those who procrastinate.

I thought Id write a letter
To my old and ailing friend
But I put it off and never wrote
Before she met her end.

I thought Id give my neighbour flowers
To thank her for some relish
But when I got around to it
The flowers looked all hellish.

I thought Id send a card
When the lass turned twenty-one
But I put it off for far too long
Cause now, shes married with a son.

So Ive made a resolution
So never more, Ill feel, I blew it
Quick as the thought comes in my head
I wont procrastinate - JUST DO IT.
