Here's Alison: A Man With Curly Hair

Alison Ross couldn't resist writing this poem after hearing that a friend's husband asked if she would mind if he had his hair permed.

Oh Honey-dear
Your golden hair
Is shiny, blonde and wispy.

You want to have a perm
And have, it short,
Curled tight and crispy!

Well Iíve thought the matter over
And it appears to be...
A reasonable request
That quite appeals to me.

Iíll run my fingers thro your hair
Your brand new curly tresses
So go and have a perm my love
But donít wear any dresses!

I like a man with curly hair
To frame his manly face
But Honey dear, your underwear
Had better not have lace!
