We do not own the future,
It owes us nothing,
But it is imperative
That we do all that we can
To contribute to it.
For the future is where dreams lie,
Where we can gaze upon tomorrow,
And hope for brighter days.
We endeavor to reach it;
the pioneering spirit inside of us all
makes it so.
Our searching eyes see distant horizons
and we set out to meet them,
to meet the challenges and the glory of them.
We pave the way for the future,
And aye, it owes us nothing,
Tis the way,
Tis the duty,
Of man.
Seeking and contributing
To a world that in the end,
Owes us nothing
