See, the day! See, it comes!
When the waters of freedom shall tumble down from the mountains
And quench our thirst in this land of stones
For so long we waited for our doom to fly out
And become one with the damned night

See, the day! See, it comes!
Though the dictator's lock remains stuck and still
And his words are sweeter than refined sugar
With everyday that passes he expands his wiles to keep us detained

See, the day! See, it comes!
Our freedom will, once again, blossom like a flame lily
The time is coming, the day is drawing nearer
When the bloodshed shall redeem itself
And resurrect as a fire in our present being
