Poetry Pleases: Jerusalem

Caroline Glyn writes of a brilliantly enclosed life.

I live in a sphere.
My pattern is whole,
And the pattern within
Is the same as the pattern without.

The cupped dew
Has all the light
Of all the sky in its sphered surface.

Christ enthroned
Holds an orb
In his all-containing hand.
