North American Dreaming: Light Switch

William Burkholder writes of a seemingly mundane decision which has a deep significance.

A Mundane decision,
On or off,
Perpetrated in passing.
No major consequence,
Or is it?
Light or no light?
Seeing or not,
Vision, blindness,
Until eyes become accustomed to the dark,
Aye a choice.
I'll prefer mine in the upright position,
Thank you.
