It's a Boy! It's a Boy!
Christmas morning, shout for joy!
Mary's baby's in the manger,
Welcome friend and welcome stranger!

Here is hope for mournful millions;
Now the world can start afresh.
Long awaited, the Messiah
Here at last in human flesh!

In this tiny new-born baby
Lies the strength of all the earth:
History will now be dated
From this simple, lowly birth.

Mystery of incarnation,
Living word of God above;
Prince of Peace shall be his title:
He will teach mankind to love.

Signal of our Christmas gladness
Bells of Bethlehem shall chime:
We will keep this glorious Birthday
Till the very end of time!

Mary's baby's in the manger,
Welcome friend and welcome stranger!
Christmas morning, shout for joy!
It's a Boy! It's a Boy!
