Created the role of Donizetti' s Lucia di Lammermoor 1835. Married composer Giuseppi Persiani. With her small and delicate voice and impeccable technique she was ideally suited to early Romantic roles.

She died 3rd May 1867 in Neville-Sool-Seine aged 54.
