North American Dreaming: Indigo Rhythms

"Never too old to gorw wise,'' says William Burkholder's poem.

Never too old to grow wise,
sparkling eyes devouring indigo rhythms.
Locking them in memory's frame.
Weathered, tired hands,
renewed with each turn of the page.
Young again; and the page turns,
Indigo rhythms.
