North American Dreaming: Turbulence

William Burkholder’s poem tells of a wind-driven rage.

wind driven rage.
Piercing the heart

Broken remnants of hearts
desire lay in shards
and the tools,
my tears,
my regrets,
do little to
remedy the break.
