Feather's Miscellany: Peace Hymn

In another Age of Reason,
When the world will be at peace,
Nations living with each other
In the Age when all wars cease.

John Waddington-Feather
brings us a processional peace hymn.

He who made the stretching heavens,
Also made the tiny bee;
He who made the universe
Also formed each part of me.

In the world through evolution
Grow we daily nearer God,
Guided by the Holy Spirit,
To an Age of endless love.

Men and women, past and present,
Each one made by one great God;
All created in his image,
All creations of his love.

Made to love in Godly concord,
Live their lives in peace on earth;
Every faith and creed and colour made
To praise God by their birth.

Though they differ in their lifestyles,
Diverse people, yet as one
In the sight of God their Father,
Unified by Christ the Son.

Christ, the man-born human Godhead,
Flesh and Spirit from Godís Mind,
In the world from its beginning
To the very end of time.

In another Age of Reason,
When the world will be at peace,
Nations living with each other
In the Age when all wars cease.

Glory be to God the Father,
Glory be to God the Son,
Praise to you O Holy Spirit
While the endless Ages run.
