A Fistful Of Stars: A Blank Screen

Hariharan Balakrishnan's poem tells of the word drought which affects all writers at one time or another.

A blank screen stares at me
Asking for words and lines
A dog also looks at me
Asking for a morsel

I have none
Neither words
Nor food to give
The blank screen reflects me

Today- only now

Tomorrow
I bounce back
With words for you
And maybe some food
For the hungry dog
