Laugh With Lisa: Train Ride

Lisa DeMarco tells of an old lady who found the perfect way to silence a cell phone blabber.

An old lady is boarding a commuter train after a very busy day shopping. She settled down in her seat and closed her eyes.

As the train rolled out of the station, the guy sitting next to her pulled out his cell phone and started talking in a loud voice.

Hi sweetheart, its Eric, Im on the train. Yes, I know, its 6:30 and not 4:30, but I had a long meeting.''

No, honey, it wasnt with that floozy from the accounts office, it was with my boss.

No sweetheart, you know you are the only woman in my life.

Yes honey, Im sure, cross my heart.

Fifteen minutes later, he was still talking loudly.

Finally old lady, obviously annoyed by his continuous loud blabbing, yelled Hey, Eric, turn off that stupid phone and come back to bed!

Eric doesnt use his cell phone in public any longer.
